If you want to register as a potato seller (farmer/trader) in India, it usually depends on where you want to sell. There are three common ways:

1. Register in the local Mandi (APMC market)

If you want to sell potatoes in a government mandi:

Steps

Go to your nearest APMC/Mandi office.

Ask for Trader/Seller Registration Form.

Submit documents:

Aadhaar card

Mobile number

Bank account details

Address proof

Photograph

Pay the registration fee (if required).

After approval, you will get a seller/trader license.

2. Register on the national online market

You can also sell potatoes online through National Agriculture Market (eNAM).

Steps

Go to the eNAM website.

Click Farmer/Trader Registration.

Fill details:

Aadhaar number

Bank details

Farm/commodity details (potato)

Verify with OTP and submit.

3. Register as a supplier to companies or cold storages
